Have you ever heard of decision fatigue? It boils down to the more decisions you make throughout the day, the worse they become because we only come with a finite amount of good decisions. It’s why Steve Jobs has a work uniform (the famous black turtleneck sweater) so he doesn’t need to decide what to wear every morning. When I embarked on my fashion journey, I found it overwhelming to mix and match items (it also didn’t help that my closet used to be filled with trendy pieces instead of staples) which resulted in me wearing very similar outfits multiple times. And since I felt I had nothing to wear, I always felt this inclination to shop. One day, I…

I recently went on a little shopping spree on Fossil’s website because they had a massive sale… on top of their sale! It was an additional 40% off on their sales/clearance prices so a lot of their inventory was very affordable. For those who don’t know, Fossil is a well-known retailer of affordable and nice watches in Canada and the US. What many don’t realize is that Fossil has a great selection of leather bags for women and men and their quality and designs are fantastic. But, barre was the one workout that I truly loved after leaving the gym so I maintained my membership until the pandemic hit.  Given how expensive my barre membership was, I opted to save money on activewear when it came to getting something new. I’m someone that believes a good pair of workout leggings can help motivate you to hit the gym! Here are a few…

Last year for my birthday, I decided to get a Dior book tote! It was a bag that caught my attention but I never found a pattern that I loved enough. I could’ve gone with the classic oblique or Toile de Jouy design but I knew it wouldn’t spark joy. I eventually found the small (now medium and will refer to it as a medium book tote going forward) bayadere embroidery design (from 2020) that I fell in love with because I found the design to be simple, timeless, and not to mention, neutral beige!  Unfortunately, it sat in my closet for the remainder of 2021 up until early this year, Dan and I went to Las Vegas after two…
