For my 30th birthday, Dan treated me to a session of feet reflexology at Big Feet (Kingsway location) after I went on and on about how much I wanted to try a session. I’ve had short foot massages in the past and always found them to be relaxing and I knew of an acquaintance who swears by Big Feet massages so you can say I was very much intrigued with this franchise. What exactly is reflexology? According to Big Feet,  Reflexology is a therapy in which pressure is applied to reflex points on the hands, feet, and ears.It is based on the principle that these reflex points are related to the internal organs and glands, and are laid out in…

I first learned about Obe Fitness when my Instagram was being flooded with their fun, bright and catchy ads boasting over 100+ live classes and on-demand classes from barre, to dance cardio. At that time, I chose to skip Obe Fitness because I was a dedicated Pure Barre fan and found my go-to workout. Plus, I already had ClassPass to give me my fix of gyms and weights. Being in an environment outside of my living room makes exercising very easy. To say, I hate home workouts. But, the pandemic hit and my city went into lockdown. I feel extremely high maintenance to admit that I have a personal trainer but I know I needed one. I’m not particularly aiming to lose weight or change the way I look. I joined the gym because I realized how unfit I was and I wanted to gain weight (which in this case, is muscle mass) to be 110lbs so I can donate blood. I have friends that are bodybuilders and gym rats but I feel it’s a lot to ask of…

*This post is most likely NSFW and TMI for those who are uncomfortable with sexual topics. This is my personal account with IUD; some readers may find it too graphical. I’m choosing to share my experience because, during my research, I couldn’t find many personal details/experiences of copper IUDs besides medical summaries of copper IUDs. *This is an old post that I recycled from my previous blog. As of May 2022, I am not on any contraceptives but I am more than happy to answer any questions about the IUD.  — It’s been approximately two months since I got my copper IUD inserted in me aaaaaaaand…. I don’t regret it all!  A bit about my background: 21 years old and…
